2012 STATE WOMEN'S TEAM TRIALS

Monday 23rd January          5.00pm

All trials will be held at South Perth Baseball Club (Grayden Reserve, Como). Players to be dressed and ready to go in baseball attire at times listed. (This means be ready to go 15mins before!!)

Please make sure you have sneakers/cleats, plenty of water and sunscreen.

Further trial dates will be added in the coming weeks.

We have a few changes from the 10/11 season. .  We say farewell (hopefully not for long) to Curtin Uni & Swan Districts.

The 2011 National Championship has finished, with the WA Women's HEAT finishing 4th behind VIC Blue (1st), NSW (2nd) & CNSW (3rd).

 The young WA team has fought hard in all 8 games and showed the calibre of baseball that is being played in WA.

The WA team won the GOLD Medal game last year, defeating NSW in the dying moments of the 7th inning.

Unfortunately that dream will not come true this year, as WA went down 6-1 to NSW in the Semi Final, and sadly lost the Bronze Medal Game 6-1 to CNSW. The girls have fought hard this year, with a very young & inexperienced team, and should be proud of what they have achieved.

Be happy with your efforts this year, and come back fighting next year!
